Lt. Col. Dr. Ali Mubarak Alshahrani

Lt. Col. Dr. Ali Mubarak Alshahrani is an accomplished Medical Doctor and a veteran Officer with the Royal Saudi Airforce. He has garnered over fifteen years experience in the health sector managing air crew medical problems and emergency. He has vast knowledge in assessing and implementing medical policy and regulations.
His career sparked up from being a flight surgeon to Director of flight Surgeon then Head of psychosocial office and currently the Head of Medical Affairs. Dr. Ali has contributed immensely to health and safety, community and preventive medicine.


PROF. RICHARD PAGETT is a specialise in environmental and social management, resilience and sustainable development, and climate change. With direct, professional experience in more than 175 countries, he have significant experience with international funding agencies: World Bank, IFC, MCC, USAID, UNDP, UNOPS, EBRD, EIB, EU/EC, AFD, IADB, AfDB, ADB, JICA, CDB, SDC, and DFID.
Although he have worked within a diverse range of industry sectors, I have particular expertise in central, regional and municipal governance, rural development, oil & gas, tourism, water & sanitation (WATSAN, WASH), waste, biodiversity and ecosystem services, forestry & agriculture, harbours & marinas, road, rail, air & sea transport, power and energy, construction, telecommunications and urban development. His experience includes climate change vulnerability, impact and risk assessment, climate finance (private and public) water, food, energy and land security, circular, green and blue economies, environmental and social impact assessment, strategic environmental assessment, coastal zone management, HSE management systems and ISO 14001, environmental training, compliance, monitoring and evaluation (ex-ante, mid-term, post-) due diligence and environmental auditing, risk assessment, policy guidance, public consultation, training and capacity-building, and working with shareholders and funding agencies.
He hold a PhD in ecology, geology, and chemistry and am a member of several professional bodies; Royal Society of Biology, Energy Institute, Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, and the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management.
Specialist in: policy guidance, capacity building and institutional strengthening, particularly on climate change, sustainable development and resilience.

Ogbonna Kate Ocheze

Ogbonna Kate Ocheze, a Deputy Director, Environmental Health and Safety Department, Abuja Environmental Protection Board, FCT Administration has as part of her volition in serving humanity in monitoring and enforcing health and hygiene legislation in various regions. She also investigates when there’s an incident, such as pollution, a noise problem, toxic contamination, pest infestation or an outbreak of food poisoning in many of these regions, also providing immediate solution(s) towards preventing such occurrences.

Eng. Abd Elhamed Elshazly

Eng. Abd Elhamed Elshazly had developed and implemented environmental, health and safety programs to integrate EH&S into the business operations in many places. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer, QHSE-S Training Centre, Egypt with over 20 years of progressive experience in safety and health with over 50 professional staff he has trained.

Mr. Johnmark Aikhuomogbe

Mr. Johnmark Aikhuomogbe – Executive Director, Safemark Global Resources United Kingdom was the Nigerian Expert for World Bank SESE Project with Wardell Armstrong UK. He facilitated and taught Hazard and Effect Management Process to all SPDC Contract Holders and Contract Supervisors across Nigeria – Odua Arinze (Champion), Project Planning and EIA Scoping; Planning and Assessments involving Environmental Studies.
